Tyler, owner and operator of Southern Mapping & Drafting, LLC, is a dedicated Civil Engineering EIT with a passion for innovative design and problem-solving. He holds a Civil Engineering degree from Tennessee Technological University, combining technical expertise with strategic insight to deliver exceptional results. Tyler specializes in civil site design, creating high-quality engineering design packages. With extensive experience in a multitude of civil engineering roles, Tyler has developed advanced skills in infrastructure analysis, stormwater design, and utility project oversight. His proficiency with industry-leading software, such as HEC-RAS and varying AutoCAD programs, underscores his capability to manage complex projects with precision and efficiency.

Tyler is also a licensed FAA Part 107 UAS pilot, executing hundreds of flights for clients all over the southeast. Due to his capability to work across multiple platforms, he utilizes LIDAR Technology, photogrammetric processing, and traditional boots on the ground GPS methodology to produce topographic models, detailed site condition exhibits and aerial imagery.

Tyler’s work encompasses civil engineering design support, permit acquisition, FAA-certified drone operations, and effective coordination between clients and subcontractors to ensure timely, cost-efficient project delivery.
